Oh my goodness it’s finally time for Rifts dimension book 7 Megaverse Builder. I absolutely love this book. I give this book a 5-star rating solely for the vast options it helps a space or dimension-spanning game go in. Build your own dimensions with totally unique systems, planets, and suns, make them infinite or pocket-sized, the options are endless.
Create dimensions of your own. Revisit the Shifter and adventure on worlds unknown.
GM material Rifts dimension book 7 Megaverse Builder adds?
You can almost say “what in the book isn’t really designed for the GM” other than OCCs and familiars. That would fit the bill nicely really. As a whole, it adds dimension-related stuff.
Specifically, the book comes with a bunch of roll tables you can use to generate new dimensions. When you combine this book with the planet generation tables, world builder (dimension book 5 anvil galaxy), and the colony creator from dimension book 14 Thundercloud(also with a monster creation table) it really develops a new dimension.
After the builder, it has a handful of example dimensions rolled up. The example dimensions are OK but not the greatest to use. One is a garbage dimension, which I think is something from comic books. After the examples, there is a list of dimensional traveling anomalies and critters to be wary of.
In playing a shifter extensively I and my group found that using the anomalies, ley line storms, and problems associated with going somewhere was not actually all that fun. We did it on occasion but for the most part, the shifter description leads one to believe that they can travel where they want to go most of the time without issue.
What do players get in Rifts dimension book 7 Megaverse Builder
Players basically get a redone Shifter OCC, a variant shifter, familiars, a summoning table, and some critters to use as summons if they are a shifter. No gear or equipment is in this book. You could also have knowledge of some of the dimensions as a shifter I suppose if desired. Oh a couple of new spells for mages: teleport self, and expel demons.
What story material does Rifts dimension book 7 Megaverse Builder add?
Whatever your imagination can come up with. Aside from that, it adds the story of shifters running throughout the megaverse looking for artifacts for Tolkeen.
The dimensions listed also have a hook, line, and sinker sections that can be used to create adventures. There is also a section describing how to connect the other dimensions of Palladium books like Rifts Earth, Phase World, Palladium World, and others.
Is Rifts dimension book 7 Megaverse Builder original?
I can’t honestly think of another book for any other game that adds a generator for you to build your own dimensions so absolutely. 5 stars all the way.
How game-breaking is Rifts dimension book 7 Megaverse Builder?
On its own not at all. It just allows you to come up with a new dimension. Though that on its own you may say is game-breaking. If you start combining the planet, colony, and race generator then you can really set up a totally unheard-of setting for Rifts, not to mention game-breaking.

How good are the OCCs(classes)
A much-needed revisit for the Shifter was done in this book. Better defining its niche as a practitioner of magic and setting the stage for it to really travel dimensions. The book also offers some truly unique options as familiars. The megaverse builder has a really cool summoning table for those that want to do random summons.
The Tolkeen Artifact Hunter is a good specialty shifter specifically designed to go out and bring back magic artifacts. They are basically a shifter with some slight differences in skill selections and motives for travel.
How well does it mix with the core Rifts game?
Absolutely fantastic. I have a True Atlantean Shifter that inspired me to read all the Rifts books on how to use a Shifter and this is a must-have book. The generator presented here makes traveling so much easier. It takes out so much hassle on the part of a GM trying to figure out where they go.
