His goal is to acquire the necessary components to construct a water filtration system capable of purifying the contaminated water. Wanko has appointed Root, a renowned Psi-Stalker from the city, as the leader of this salvage team.
Colgate, a Rogue Scientist with psychic abilities, experiences troubling visions related to the crisis in New Lazlo. He sees a monstrous tentacle creature emerging from the contaminated water, accompanied by a figure deliberately polluting the city’s water supply. Strangely, this figure is often near a beach, even though there are no nearby beaches. A Desperate Plan
In the ruins of Detroit, just outside New Lazlo, resides Beacher, a figure of interest. He frequently travels by canoe to Windsor, where he cultivates and bottles the xeno-biological algae found in a small water reservoir near an active Rift. Detroit and Windsor are both infested with supernatural creatures, entities, and practitioners of dark magic seeking refuge from civilization. Beacher lives among a unique group of undiscovered DBees, a humanoid plant-based lifeform with extraordinary powers of Plant Control. They are reborn in the water reservoir near the active Rift. Beacher believes that by relocating these “babies” to New Lazlo, he can provide them with a better life. The DBees themselves exhibit a non-aggressive nature and remain indifferent to the presence of other lifeforms, resembling Beacher’s pets in his eyes.
