A Rifts RPG Adventure in Germany.
Triax Factory City Munich is dealing with a powerful Necromancer named Sorau, who’s taken over a Black Market Outpost connected to Goldenen Lamm ‘The Golden Lamp’. Sorau is a female Ogress and tribal leader with over 100 Orcs, Wolfen, Ogres, and Gigantes loyal to her. She sees the territory claimed by the Golden Lamp located in Eastern Germany, called Zoutten, as part of her own (Traunstein in Bavaria.)
The Outpost has 120 people and was a manufacturing site of knockoff Triax Weapons. The heart of Zoutten is dominated by a pre-collapse era hospital, now converted to the main factory for Goldenen Lamm. A town feature in Zoutten is a small Naruni Trading Post that sold weapons and armor.
Sorau fears the supernatural and has routine patrols to seek them out.
Those employed by Goldenen Lamm, who hasn’t been executed already, have been enslaved or being used for ‘other morbid activities’ pleasing to Sorau and her tribe.
Menno only wants to recover his dead girlfriend’s body.
Menno Frank is a Juicer trying to recover the body of his girlfriend, now a Zombie Thrall of Sorau’s. She had gone missing 2 months ago, and he’s been tracking her ever since and has followed her to Zoutten. Unfortunately for him, the NGR is also at Zoutten’s doorstep and has planned their move into the town to eradicate Sorau and her followers (and a hoard of animated dead.)
You can always count on the NGR to mess things up.
Fortunately for Menno, that morning, one of Sorau’s patrols came upon a Witchling and 4 Brodkil, a Wolfen Shifter currently controlling a Shedim, two Gremlins, and a Loogaroo. Retreating from the Witchling, the patrol was quickly dispensed with by the NGR forces. But it wasn’t long after that the NGR forces were pushed up against by the crazed Witchling and her entourage.
This setback for the NGR has afforded Menno time to sneak into Zoutten, locate the animated corpse of his girlfriend, and get out.
With Zoutten having fallen to the necromancer and her tribal members, a Naruni Arms Merchant is paying handsomely for brave adventurers to sneak into Zoutten and recover his merchandise. Curpop Carjie, the Naruni Arms Dealer, is offering 20% of the total value of his inventory retrieved in Universal Credits to whoever recovers his merchandise.
